Big Ten picks: MLive’s predictions for Iowa-Ohio State, Minnesota-Penn State and more

Both Michigan and Michigan State have byes this week. Andrew Kahn won last week but couldn't make up any ground. Iowa and Ohio State are playing each other at noon on Saturday. Michigan vs. Michigan St. is scheduled for October 29 in Ann Arbor.

Iowa is favored by 29 points over Rutgers. Rutgers fired their offensive coordinator and is still looking for its first Big Ten win. Indiana nearly upset Maryland after making a coaching staff change.

Maryland's star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa is going to be a game-time decision. Northwestern's had a bye last week and is coming off a 35-point home loss to Wisconsin.

Purdue has won four straight games after a shaky start to the season. Wisconsin was a mess in overtime last week and is an underdog against Purdue.

Penn State plays Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. The Nittany Lions lost at Michigan last week.
