Carlos Correa contract will be one of Giants' worst, Chris Russo believes
The Giants signed Carlos Correa to a 13-year, $350 million contract Tuesday night. MLB Network's Chris Russo criticized the deal on "High Heat" Wednesday morning.
Russo rips 'desperate' Giants for "crazy' Correa contract. He predicts it will be one of the worst moves in Giants franchise history. Correia's highest MVP finish was fifth, he's made two All-Star teams, but he hasn't hit 30 home runs and he only drove in over 85 runs once in his career. Last year he hit 22 homers and 64 RBIs. Correr is 29 years old and a lifetime .279 hitter. His highest vote-getter was 5th. The contract is 13 years, $350 million. It's the same amount as Aaron Judge's contract with the Yankees.
