Acca pick 1 – Leicester City vs Chelsea, 3pm

Leicester have lost their previous four matches in all competitions – three of them in the Premier League – and they go into this match in 15th, just two points above the relegation places.

The pressure remains on their manager, Brendan Rodgers, but back-to-back wins for Chelsea over Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund have given Blues boss Graham Potter breathing space.

Chelsea won the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge in August, Raheem Sterling scoring twice to secure a 2-1 win after Connor Gallagher was sent off in the 28th minute.

Closing an 11-point gap between themselves and fourth place may be beyond them with only a third of the season remaining, but they can see off an out-of-form Leicester side on Saturday.

Accumulator tip 1: Chelsea to win

Acca pick 2 – Leeds United vs Brighton, 3pm

Only goal difference is keeping Leeds United above the relegation places and they face a Brighton side whose form in 2023 has been excellent.

Roberto De Zerbi’s team have won seven and drawn two of 10 matches in all competitions this year and go into this match eighth in the table, with games in hand on all the teams above them.

The Seagulls are dominating possession in their fixtures – they had 65.8 per cent of the ball in last weekend’s 4-0 home win against West Ham United.

They have also scored in all but two of their 13 away fixtures in all competitions this season and we are backing them to do that again and claim three points at Elland Road.

Acca pick 3 – Swansea City vs Middlesbrough, 3pm

A point above the relegation places when Michael Carrick was appointed manager in October, Middlesbrough go into this match third and just seven points off an automatic promotion spot.

The Teessiders have won 14 of 19 league matches under Carrick – including six of the previous seven – and have their sights set on overhauling second-placed Sheffield United. 

Swansea, who were a point off the play-off places themselves when Carrick joined Boro, have slipped to 17th and have taken just five points from the last 24 available.

Their previous eight home matches have yielded only two wins and we can see Middlesbrough completing a league double over the Welsh side on Saturday.
