Cheltenham Festival 2021: day two tips and best odds

The first day of the Cheltenham Festival was exciting. Concertista's defeat in the Mares' Hurdle left punters ruing the fine margins that so often dictate this great game. Honeysuckle and Rachael Blackmore won the Champion Huddle. Chacun Pour Soi and Tiger Roll are the main attractions in Wednesday's Queen Mother Champion Chase at 3.05pm. Monkfish and Nube Negra are also in action. The first six races are live on ITV (programme underway from 1pm) and the remainder of meeting is available on Racing TV.

Bob Olinger is favourite for the Grade One Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival 2021. Bravemansgame is rated by Paul Nicholls as his best chance of a winner this week. Bear Ghylls represents small trainer Nicky Martin and is unbeaten in four starts.

Monkfish is the favourite for the Grade One Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham Festival. The Big Breakaway is a winner at the festival this term and is of interest. Dickie Diver is also a contender.

Botox Has is the favourite for the Coral Cup at Cheltenham Festival 2021. Koshari represents Mullins and is of interest following an eye-catching sixth on his latest run. Thomas Darby has good form at the track and comes into this fresh. Monte Cristo is capable of further improvement.

Chacun Pour Soi looks well placed to provide Mullins with his first win in the Champion Chase. Nube Negra announced himself as a two-mile chaser of immense promise with victory at Kempton last time out. Put The Kettle On won the Arkle at last year's meeting.

Easysland won the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase last year. Some Neck won it in February. Tiger Roll is chasing a fifth win at the Cheltenham Festival. He is a two-time winner of this event.

Embittered is yet to win in four starts over fences. Embittered looks well handicapped off a mark of 149. Zanza was an easy winner at Newbury on his penultimate start. Sky Pirate boasts winning form at Cheltenham. Duc Des Genievres has to carry top-weight.

Kilcruit, Sir Gerhard and Elle Est Belle are the favourites for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. The GQ Bookie's prediction is Kilc Fruit (15/8), SirGerhard (9/4), and EstBelle (14/1).
