College Football Pinstripe Bowl Best Bet: Odds, Predictions to Consider for Miami vs. Rutgers on DraftKings Sportsbook

We’re entering the home stretch of Bowl betting season, and as games approach, sometimes a betting angle becomes more clear. Here’s how I’m betting the Pinstripe Bowl on DraftKings Sportsbook, which takes place on Thursday, December 28 in New York.

Miami vs. Rutgers (Thursday December 28, 2:15 pm ET)

This is shaping up to be one of my favorite Bowl plays. I grabbed Rutgers +1.5 early on, but looped back to add some more ML and 1H ML as the game approaches. The spot was good for the Scarlet Knights to begin with, playing in their neck of the woods after a pretty solid season competing in the Big Ten. Meanwhile, Miami letdown in the ACC, lacking interest in a Bowl like this.

The betting splits have suggested Rutgers is the side the entire way — moving from a 4.5-point dog to a favorite, thanks to just about a third of the tickets on Rutgers, but for around two-thirds of the dollars.

As the game approaches, more and more Hurricanes keep dropping out of this game, leaving them with a skeleton crew. While we’ve seen some instances of backups stepping up in the moment so far in Bowl season, this is a really tall ask for the roster that Miami has to come north and play a Rutgers team that should be highly motivated for a Bowl win. Expect the Hurricanes to struggle to score, as Rutgers rallies to finish the season above .500.
