Mitch Haniger is also a player who is open to a contract extension or a qualifying offer. The Mariners are looking to build a perennial contender. They have George Kirby, Logan Gilbert, Robbie Ray and Ty France locked up for several more seasons. The team is looking for a new player to replace them. It's possible that they will bring in a young player.
