Eagles 2024 Super Bowl odds: Best bets for NFC East, conference

Coming off a 9-8 finish with a playoff berth in 2021, the Eagles vastly exceeded expectations in 2022.

Philadelphia recorded its most wins in a regular season in franchise history (14) and made its second Super Bowl appearance in six years.

Despite falling just short of the ultimate goal, the future is still very bright in the City of Brotherly Love. The Eagles locked down franchise QB Jalen Hurts by making him the highest-paid player in NFL history. General manager Howie Roseman was not done there as he traded up one spot in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft to select Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter, and also acquired dual-threat running back D'Andre Swift during Day 3 of the draft.

So what will the encore be for the Eagles in 2023-24? Here are Philadelphia's current odds and my best bet for this upcoming season with odds powered by Tipico Sportsbook.

Philadelphia Eagles: Division (+115), Conference (+300) & Super Bowl 58 (+770)

Not surprisingly, the reigning NFC champions are the favorites to win the NFC East and conference again, while only trailing the Kansas City Chiefs (+570) for the best odds to be Super Bowl 58 champions.

While mostly everything went right for Philadelphia in 2022, it'll be a bit more challenging in 2023. With the regular-season schedule being released next week, it's already known that the Birds will have to travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams and to Seattle to visit the Seahawks.

There will also be a Super Bowl 57 rematch at some point (potentially to kickoff the season) as the Eagles will face the Chiefs in Kansas City. This is much different than last year's regular season in which Philadelphia didn't travel west of Texas after Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Even with a potentially brutal travel schedule in 2023, Philly is in a class of its own, especially in a quarterback-depleted NFC.

It's a no-brainer to bet on the Eagles to win the division at plus money but my favorite option right now on Tipico Sportsbook is for them to win the NFC at 3/1. Even if the Eagles take a slight step back from their 14-win season a year ago, I don't see a roster top-to-bottom on both sides of the ball that's as talented as this group.

Barring injury, I'm betting on Philadelphia to be the first NFC team since the Seattle Seahawks (2013 and 2014) to repeat as conference champions and represent the NFC in Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas next February.
