Elite Power rallies to upset Jackie's Warrior in BC Sprint

Elite Power won the $2 million Sprint at Keeneland on Saturday. The horse was trained by Bill Mott and has the same trainer as Jackie's Warrior. The chestnut colt has shown why Juddmonte paid $900,000 for him at the 2019 Keeneleland September Yearling Sale. He has won four races since then. His trainer also saddled Cody’s Wish to victory in the Breeders” Cup Dirt Mile earlier on the card. It was the first Grade 1 win for the horse. Elite Power was plagued by shin issues as a 3-year-old and overall greenness.
