Manchester United fans might not remember Ritchie de Laet - but the Belgian spent three years at the Red Devils.

The full-back left United in 2012, and four years later, De Laet was part of the Leicester City side that shocked the world to win the Premier League with 5000/1 odds. However, that same day De Laet picked up his winners medal, the Belgian helped Middlesbrough to promotion

De Laet had made 12 appearances for Leicester, before he joined Middlesbrough on loan in January. As a result, De Laet picked up two medals on the same day.

“It’s crazy, a great day for me,” he told the BBC after Middlesbrough sealed promotion. “It’s crazy!

"I’m still a Leicester player! So I’ll be on my way to catch the end of the Leicester game to get awarded my medal over there."

Now 34-years-old, De Laet is set to make his Champions League debut on Tuesday evening as he turns out for Royal Antwerp against Barcelona.

On a heart-stopping final day, Royal Antwerp won the Jupiler Pro League, booking their spot in the Champions League. It's the first time Royal Antwerp have graced Europe's top competition since 1957, when they lost to Real Madrid.

De Laet is just one of a number of ex-Premier League stars who will turn out for the Belgian side on Tuesday - with ex- Spurs stars Toby Alderweireld and Vincent Janssen also turning out for Royal Antwerp.
