Fernando Alonso at odds with Alpine over major issue which ruined his race at Monza

Fernando Alonso had to retire from the Italian Grand Prix on lap 32 due to a water pressure issue. Alonso will leave for Aston Martin at the end of the season. Esteban Ocon finished 11th, one place outside the points. Lando Norris finished seventh for McLaren. Daniel Ricciardo had a mechanical problem at Monza. McLaren's lead over midfield rivals McLaren cut. The team had both drivers in the top 10 but without penalty. They finished P10, P9 maximum. It was a weekend to forget for Alpine. Their team-mate Estaban ocon started 14th with a grid penalty and finished with 11st.
