Pick

Washington comes into this game still searching for their first goal of the season, as they were shutout at home in their first game. Calgary had a nice win against the Jets in their first game, but lost on the road in their second game. I do think we are going to see a better effort out of the Capitals in this game, but they need to get better goaltending. Lindgren started in net for Washington in the first game, but Kuemper is expected to be back for this one. I like the Capitals to bounce back with a home win here.
