Gemirande out to sparkle for in-form Williams and Deutsch combination

Gemirande is in a race for the 0-130 grade. He represents last year's winning connections Venetia Williams and Charlie Deutsch. Since the new rating was introduced in 2015, all but one of the winners has returned a Racing Post Rating between 137 and 150. Peejaybee or High Up In The Air are other horses with good form on soft ground and at this track. Scipion has form in deep ground. Tom Lacey is an underrated trainer.

Richard Spencer is looking for his first winner of the jumps season with Peejaybee. PEEjayBee fell at the seventh fence on his most recent start at Haydock last week. Spencer has sent out eight runners over jumps this season without success. The trainer's most successful win came last February when Péejaybees was sent off 2-13 for a Sedgefield novice hurdle.

Henry Daly, trainer of Precious Eleanor, is keen to run in the race. Tom Lacey, Scipion's trainer, didn't do well on his first run over fences at Uttoxeter. Lydia Richards, Certainly Red's, took him out at Newbury last weekend when the ground was too soft. Venetia Williams, Gemirande's Trainer, hopes he will do very well in a race like this. Gary Moore, Trainer of Sopran Thor and High Up In The Air, has his last run of the season.
