San Francisco Giants vs Colorado Rockies

Location of the game: Coors Field. Denver, Colorado.

Date & Time: Wednesday, June 7. 8:40 pm ET.

How to watch: NBC Sports Bay Area | AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain

As noted by Giants vs Rockies betting enthusiasts, the Giants opened this three-game set with a six-run victory on Tuesday. They score eight runs in the first five innings and pounding out 14 hits in a game they never trailed to get back to the .500 mark.

San Fran received a jolt to their lineup in the series opener as both Joc Pederson and Thairo Estrada returned to action after stints on the IL. The two were placed in the two-and-three holes, respectively, and combined for four hits, two walks, an RBI, and a run scored.

These are two key San Francisco Giants players. Who the club will rely on to make a push toward the top of the NL West in the MLB standings. Entering Wednesday, the Giants are in third place, 5.5 games back of the Diamondbacks.

The Rockies had been 8-0 in their last eight MLB games after allowing two runs or less in their previous matchup and 6-1 in their last seven games with the total set at 11.0 or higher. But those trends came to a crashing halt in the blowout defeat on Tuesday.

It wasn’t one of the more memorable Colorado Rockies games. And they’ll still be without star outfielder Kris Bryant who is on the IL with a bruised left heel. He was playing catch before yesterday’s game but still cannot run at all. Meanwhile, CJ Cron is expected to resume baseball activities next week as he progresses in his rehab from back spasms. Without these two in the lineup, the Rockies are one of only five teams in the majors with less than 50 home runs as a team, as we check MLB stats.

According to ‌MLB odds, the Giants are the moneyline favorites on Wednesday (-210) with an over/under of 11 runs. For the second straight night, this matchup is one of only two games on the card with a double-digit total.

In terms of MLB picks, that’s interesting, considering Webb is fourth in the National League in ERA. He hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a start since the middle of April. On the other side, though, Seabold hasn’t completed six innings yet this year.

The juice is hefty, so lay the run and a half as we’re bullish on the road team again on Wednesday. Webb should have no issues with this thinned-out lineup and could go very deep tonight.

Our final Giants vs Rockies betting prediction sees San Francisco prevailing as the masters in the Mile High.

  • Pick: Giants -1.5
