Grand National 2022: Best each-way bets and which finishing places bookies are paying out on

The Grand National is the most anticipated meeting in the entire racing calendar. The 21 races over three days attract hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide. 150,000 punters are expected to descend on Aintree Racecourse over the three day event. Saturday's race will be broadcast to more than 140 nations and over 600 million global fans.

Bookies are paying out on Thursday.

Bowl Steeple Chase (14:55) has been won by the starting favourite in each of the last three races. Protektorat (10/3) will face eight rivals including two former winners of this race. Kemboy (5/1) is aiming to emulate Wayward Lad and First Gold as the third horse to regain their crown.

Aintree Hurdle (15:30) is a high point of the festival. Monmiral trained by Paul Nicholls is 10/1 each-way.

Dan Skelton has saddled eight winners from the last 29 runners. His runner Allmankind is 9/1 in the Mellings Chase.

Grand National 2022 is taking place on Saturday.

Ryan Mania rode 2013 Grand National winner Auroras Encore on the back of Dingo Dollar. Dingle Dollar is a 10-year-old chestnut gelding trained by Sandy Thomson at Lambden Stables.

Bookies pay out on up to five or six places in the Grand National. With fewer horses, it is less likely more than three places will be paid out.
