The draw has been made for the 2023 Grand Slam of Darts. Here’s how the draw has taken shape:

Grand Slam of Darts Tips 2023

The obvious starting point for many punters at will be Gerwyn Price. He’s the favourite to win with most but hasn’t managed to win a televised ranking event since 2021. That win came in this event and was his third time winning the Grand Slam of Darts in four years. With his current lack of success, it might pay to look a little further down the betting.

It’s taken a while for Luke Humphries to establish himself since winning the World Youth Championship in 2019. A semi-final finish in the 2022 edition of this tournament has been a springboard to success for the Englishman. Since then, he’s made the semis of the Players Championship and the World Matchplay, before winning the World Grand Prix in October.

The draw means he should get out of his group without too much fuss, setting up either a second round or quarter-final showdown with Price. Humphries beat Price 5-1 in sets in the final of the World Grand Prix, so facing him again should hold no fears. Humphries should be able to go close in this and continue to make an impression on the PDC scene.
