Hafeez fails to clear bio-mechanics test on bowling action
Mohammad Hafeez failed the second bio-mechanics test on his bowling action in a lab in Chennai. The bending of his arm both round and over the wicket exceeded the limit of 15 degrees. He will have one month to improve his action before the World Cup which starts on February 14. He is also a good batsman and has taken nine wickets in 12 matches in the last 12 ODIs. Some experts are backing Azhar Ali to replace him in Pakistan's World cup squad. It will be a testing time for the selectors. They will decide if he is worthy of selection as a batsperson or as an all-rounder.
