Henry De Bromhead Horses Running On Cheltenham Day 3

Irish horse racing trainer, Henry De Bromhead, is back for this year’s Cheltenham aiming to train a few winners at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival. He is one of the leading trainers in racing, and has nine runners on Day 3. Read on to find out which horses Henry De Bromhead has running on Day 3 of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

Henry De Bromhead With Nine Runners On Cheltenham Day 3

Henry De Bromhead has never been the top trainer at the Cheltenham Festival but has lots of excellent horses running at this year’s meeting. However, the Irish trainer has won the Gold Cup the past two years with Minella Indo and A Plus Tard respectively.

Plus, he had also won the last two Champion Hurdles with Honeysuckle, prior to this year where she ran in the Mares’ Hurdle instead and won on her last start as a racehorse.

The 50-year-old racing trainer will be hoping to replicate this form with a stellar showing at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

De Bromhead has 18 winners to his name in the Cheltenham Festival over the years, not including this year. This includes two Gold Cup’s, two Champion Hurdles and three Queen Mother Champion Chases to name but a few.

On Day 3, Henry De Bromhead has nine runners on Thursday 16th March. These runners include Envoi Allen, who is probably the Irish trainers most likely winner on Day 3 around the famous Cheltenham track in the Ryanair Chase.

The two-time Gold Cup winner with Minella Indo (2021) and A Plus Tard (2022) also has eight more runners along with Envoi Allen on Day 3.

The Irish racehorse trainer has plenty of big chances tomorrow too at the Cheltenham Festival with the likes of A Plus Tard and Minella Indo in the Gold Cup to name but a few.

He also has a few outside chances on Day 3 too at Cheltenham this year, with the likes of Marvel De Cerisy in the Magners Plate Handicap Chase, Magical Zoe in the Mares Novices’ Hurdle in the Coral Cup and four more horses running in that race too.

De Bromhead is also priced at 25/1 as the fourth favourite to be the 2023 Cheltenham Festival Top Trainer.
