Castle Way looked really good on his return at headquarters 69 days ago, but obviously met with a minor hiccup as he didn’t take up an engagement at the Royal Ascot meeting. The step up in distance now can prove key as he looks like a real resolute galloper and this can be another step up the ladder for him.
LAKE FOREST looked pretty sharp on his racecourse debut, always travelling much the best in his Haydock victory. Despite not really knowing what was required he still managed to pull a couple of lengths clear of the field.
He should have improved a lot mentally and physically from that outing as he goes in against much tougher opposition, but looks to have been overlooked in the market as an each-way shout.
The three-year-old looked incredibly babyish on his second last time in Listed company and has only been nudged up 2lbs by the assessor for that excellent effort. TAJALLA drops back into handicap company and most importantly, steps up an extra furlong to 6f. Considering the way he hit the line at Sandown, it’s going to be a major bonus.

The Charlie Appleby team were under a bit of a cloud throughout the Royal meeting and he didn’t run badly considering all that. He has a team-mate to ensure a strong pace to run at and he goes over his ideal distance. ADAYAR will be short odds but should get the job done.
