Gaillard du Mesnil is a stayer. He was runner-up in the 2021 Ballymore Hurdle and placed in Broadway back at the Festival 33 days ago.

Mount Ida won the Kim Muir at last year's Cheltenham Festival. She has scored twice in mares' races this term.

Ronald Pump won Leinster National at Naas 36 days ago.

Farclas is the 7th best bet for the Irish Grand National.

8. Early Doors (Joseph O'Brien/J. Slevin) won the 2019 Martin Pipe and 2020 Galway Plate. He finished fifth of 6 lengths to Sizing Pottsie in Webster Cup Chase at Navan 37 days ago.

Enjoy d'Allen (Ciaran Murphy/ Conor Orr) was dual chase winner last season and third in this off 6lb lower 12 months ago.

Samcro is a dual Cheltenham Festival winner in his pomp. He has won May Killarney and the Grand National recently.

11. Diol Ker (Noel Meade/ Bryan Cooper) won Leinster National handicap at Naas 36 days ago by ½ length from Ronald Pump.

Screaming Colours is a course winner and a success story over the past two years. He won the Midlands National at Uttoxeter after 5 months off 30 days ago.

13. Off You Go (Charles Brynes/ Aidan Coleman) won valuable Leopardstown handicap 68 days ago. Cheekpieces go on first time at the Grand National.

14. Death Duty (Gordon Elliott/ Sam Ewing) won Punchestown handicap in February and the Cheltenham Festival. He unseated first Canal Turn in the National 9 days ago.

Max Flamingo won a handicap hurdle at this meeting last year and was off the mark over fences in 4-runner beginners event at Thurles 30 days ago.

16. Fakir d'Alene (Gordon Elliott/ Harry Swan) has 3 wins from 8 runs this season. Ran well in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham under this rider 32 days ago.

Velvet Elvis won handicap chase at Navan 37 days ago. He's up 10lb and has a longer trip for the Grand National.

18. School Boy Hours (Noel Meade/ Sean Flanagan) had a good run over fences before his return in Leopardstown handicap at Christmas. He hasn't had much luck in either the Kim Muir or Grand National since.

Floueur is not a match for Galopin des Champs but he could make a big run at the Grand National.

Ten Ten (Philip Dempsey and Mark Walsh) finished second in their second completed starts this season.

Lieutenant Command is a lightly raced horse that could have a bigger performance in him if he stays.

Aramax is making his first start for 6 months.

Frontal Assault (Gordon Elliott/ Jack Kennedy) is a dual hurdles winner. Frontal assault had a poor run in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham 32 days ago.

Time To Get Up (Jonjo O'Neill/ Robbie Power) won the Midlands National at Uttoxeter.

Champagne Platinum didn't jump well in Leinster National at Naas 36 days ago.

Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore are the favourites for the Irish Grand National on 26 April.

Mister Fogpatches won the Punchestown over 31f last spring.

John McConnell and Brian Hayes won the Streets of Doyen at Cheltenham.

29. Lord Lariat (Dermot McLoughlin/ Patrick O'Hanlon (7) is a course winner and useful chaser.

The Smoking Gun won the Kim Muir 32 days ago.

31. Scoir Mear (Thomas Mullins/ Reserve) is going for repeat in Leinster National won by Diol Ker 36 days ago. It's his first run over fences since last spring.

Gordon Elliott's horse has been poor since winning 25f Cheltenham handicap chase in October. He looked devoid of confidence at Downpatrick 29 days ago.

33. Alfa Mix (Gavin Cromwell/ Reserve) pulled up in Leinster National 36 days ago.

TIME TO GET UP won the 2021 Midlands National. Full Time Score, Velvet Elvis and Farclas are also respected. Gaillard du Mesnil didn't have success at Cheltenham.
