Kansas City Chiefs are already the favorites to win Super Bowl 2024 less than 24 hours after their win against Philadelphia... but the Bills and San Francisco 49ers are hot on their heels

The Kansas City Chiefs are set for a repeat, according to the betting odds, as the champions are the favorites for Super Bowl LVIII.

Patrick Mahomes and Co. beat the Philadelphia Eagles in a thrilling, narrow 38-35 win Sunday night after rallying back from a ten-point deficit in the second half.

But before their celebrations have even begun to wind down, the bookmakers are already predicting next year's winner.

It's good news for the Chiefs, however, as they lead the odds to defend their Super Bowl title.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Kansas City is the early favorite to win it all once again next season, opening at +600.

If the bookmakers are correct, it would mark a third Super Bowl title in five years for the Chiefs and would officially cement the Clark Hunt's Kansas City as a dynasty.

Kansas City has developed a strong, stable core which could last for some years to come. With Mahomes leading the way, stars such as Travis Kelce on board and head coach Andy Reid announcing he's not retiring, their successful structure could bolster them to another ring.

Meanwhile, the Eagles aren't as favored to get revenge but do have a chance to repeat their success as they opened at +900 after Sunday's loss.

Those odds are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals for fourth-best behind the Buffalo Bills, who came in at +700 and the San Francisco 49ers at +800.

The Niners came agonizingly close to the Super Bowl with rookie quarterback Brock Purdy leading them within one game.

But they were trounced by the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game with Purdy injuring his elbow before fourth-choice quarterback Josh Johnson suffered a concussion.

The head coach-less Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texas have the longest odds as both teams opened at +20,000.

Without Tom Brady, who announced his retirement 'for good' on February 1, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fall way down, opening at +6000.
