League of Nations draw, the odds favor Albania; red and black again against the Czech Republic

The draw for the fourth edition of the League of Nations was made today in Paris. Albania has recognized its opponents. The Reds will be part of Group B1 along with the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Georgia.

Everything will start in September of this year, where Albania will play the first two challenges, then in October the other two matches will be played and in November everything will end with the last two challenges of the group.

The Nations League competition has raised the bar in the 2018-2019 season. In the first two seasons, Albania competed in the C League and after the success achieved in the 2020-2021 season, ranking first in Group 4 of the C League, it advanced to the B League. This season, the red and blacks are also in the B League. , while the goal is to move to League A.

Until now, only the winners of the A league groups went to the final tournament, and from this season, a direct elimination phase will be held, in which the first two teams from each group go.

The League of Nations is seen as a good opportunity for many National Teams to show themselves and recognize growth as Representatives at international level. 

In the last edition of the League of Nations, Albania was ranked last in its group in League B, because Russia was excluded and did not go down to League C. This moment also marked the end of the adventure for coach Edi Reja, while with Silvinho, the Reds and Blacks have provided the European "Germany 2024", which will start on June 14 and will end with the grand final on July 14.
