Lleyton Hewitt's son Cruz wins first junior ITF title, beats opponent 4 years older in final

Cruz Hewitt, 13, won his first ITF J5 tournament title in Lautoka, Fiji. He beat Cristian Care, the tournament's top seed, in the final 2-6, 7-5, 3-0. Lleyton Hewit is in Fiji and he thinks more competitive tournaments would expose more young players.

Lleyton Hewitt's son Cruz won his first tennis match last year. He beat his opponent 4 years older in the final. Some tennis fans predict that Cruz will become a tennis star like his father. Lleyon Hewit won two Grand Slam singles titles in 2001. He also brought Cruz to Davis Cup training sessions and competitions.

Hewitt is pleased with how he handled the pressure of playing in an event.
