Man denied £2,400 payout after 'little mistake' on Paddy Power betting slip
Mick Keane, 83, was offered just £360 for three winners instead of four. He was so upset he went to hospital to be checked over. The pensioner had bet on the 4.10 at Chepstow instead the 2.02 at York No. 2 and was denied the full amount. Paddy Power said Mick did not dispute the change of venue on his bet at the time. He returned to pick up his winnings later. It turned out that the bookie had changed his bets to the Newmarket race. Mick had been paid out before when they knew what he wanted to bet. but not Paddaddy.
