MLB Odds: Mets-Padres prediction, odds and pick

Sean Manaea and Chris Bassitt will start for the Padres against each other for first time since their time together with the Athletics.

Manaea is only (2-3) on the season after a strong start for him. The Padres offense scored more runs last night than they had done in three weeks. Manny Machado is the top hitter in the NL this season but he's not being recognized as an MVP favorite. He has the second-highest average at .325 behind Paul Goldschmidt at .341.
