Philadelphia beat the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves 7-6 on Tuesday in Game 1 of their NL Division Series. Los Alese won their first playoff game with a 5-3 victory over the San Diego Padres in their Game One. Oddsmakers have the Dodgers as the clear favorites to win the World series.
Zack Wheeler and Kyle Wright are going to start for the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 2 of the World Series against Atlanta Braves. Wheeler is a pitcher with a sub-3.00 ERA in three straight seasons and 410 strikeouts over the past two years. Wright led MLB with 21 wins this year. This will be his third postseason start but his first since 2020.
