NBA Player Props: Best Bets for Monday, November 27 on DraftKings Sportsbook

We have a short slate around the association tonight, as just 10 teams are in action. That said, there are a couple of very enticing matchups, including Lakers vs. 76ers and Nuggets vs. Clippers.

In this article, I’m going to break down two of my favorite NBA player props on DraftKings Sportsbook. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers

As you’ll see with my second player prop, I’m targeting high-volume scorers on tonight’s slate.

If you looked up the definition of “high-volume NBA scorer” a picture of Joel Embiid may very well be plastered alongside it in the dictionary. The reigning MVP is taking the second-most shots per contest (21.1), only second to Luka Doncic. The Process also gets a lot of free points at the stripe too...

A LOT.

Embiid is once again second in that category with 11.7 free throw attempts per game. Tonight, he’s facing off against Anthony Davis and the Lakers. That’s a tough matchup on paper, but in reality Embiid is the type of guy who is virtually matchup proof... except for Al Horford, apparently.

The 7-footer has also racked up 35-plus points in each of his last two meetings with the Lakers. He’s averaging 32.1 per game and has scored at least 32 in seven of his last nine, so hitting this total should be quite doable for the big man.

Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards

I highlighted a Cunningham turnover prop a few weeks ago, and part of my reasoning for that — besides the fact that he led the league in giveaways — was his significantly expanded usage rate this season.

That same logic applies to this pick.

Cade’s usage has slightly dipped since that article was written, but he still ranks 11th in that category at 31.2%. The versatile guard also currently sits eighth among players who take the most shots per game at an even 20 attempts.

Cunningham is coming off a big performance against the Pacers in which he dropped 31. Tonight’s he draws the Wizards, who are quite frankly atrocious defensively. Washington ranks dead last in defensive rating, and that passes the eye test.

With his usage, Cade should have little trouble scoring at least 23 points against Jordan Poole and company.

Those are my two favorite NBA player props on Monday’s slate! Stay tuned for more picks later this week.
