New report says MLB earned record revenue in 2022, getting nearly $11 billion. After two years of revenues being adversely impacted by the pandemic, the business of baseball rebounded faster than a ball off the Green Monster at Fenway Park.

The MLB earned nearly $11 billion in 2022. The league renewed its contracts with Fox, ESPN and TBS. There were also streaming deals.  The national media rights ended in 2021. This allowed the league to re-sign with different broadcasting agencies.

The 2022 World Series was rained out. The league gross revenues would be just shy of $11 billion.

Major League Baseball earned nearly $11 billion in 2022. The success of the players and teams played a big role in the success.
