NFL Betting: Wild Card Round Best Picks and Advice

Stadium sports betting analyst Nate Jacobson breaks down every NFL Wild Card game's point spread using lines as of Friday morning.

Seahawks are playing the 49ers in the Wild Card round. The 49er won the last two games against Seattle. Seattle struggled in their second half of the season. They went 3-5 in final eight games. It's not ideal for Seattle to play the earliest game of this round as they had to exert a lot of energy on the final day of regular season to make the postseason.

The Chargers are the No. 5 seed in the AFC and they play the Jaguars on Saturday. The Jaguars won the NFC South in Week 18 with a non-cover win against a Titans team starting Josh Dobbs. Joey Bosa and Mike Williams are injured and the Chargers played their starters against the Broncos.

Dolphins are playing a playoff game against the Bills. Tua Tagovailoa is injured and the line went from -9 to -13. The last time the teams met, the Dolphins won 32-29. Skylar Thompson is expected to start for the game.

Giants and Vikings are playing a rematch from a game in Minnesota. The Vikings won the game 27-24 on a last-second field goal. Giants outgained the Vikings 6.7-5.0 on yards per play basis. Minnesota recently lost OT Brian O’Neill to a season-ending injury and center Garrett Bradbury to back injury.

Ravens are playing a game against Bengals, who beat them in Week 18. The Bengals closed at -11.5, but the Ravens started third-string QB Anthony Brown last week. Lamar Jackson is injured and he might miss another week, so Tyler Huntley might start. The total in this game has dropped from 43. 5 to 40.

Dallas lost 26-6 to a team starting rookie Sam Howell last week. The Cowboys are a two-point favorite against the Buccaneers. Tampa won the NFC South this season and is getting respect in the betting market based on Tom Brady's reputation. I'm thinking of splitting a bet into Cowboys first half and full game. The bets on Dallas will likely come on Monday as I try to find a better price.
