NFL Week 2 betting odds: Moneylines, spreads and Over/Unders

The NFL season kicked off with an upset as the Detroit Lions (1-0) capitalized on a Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) turnover to score a defensive TD and pick up a 21-20 victory over the defending Super Bowl champions in the first game of the season.

Week 1 saw plenty of other upsets as the Cleveland Browns (1-0) toppled the Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) by a 24-3 score. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) snuck out a 20-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings (0-1) as the post-Tom Brady era began.

All 3 of the quarterbacks selected in the top 10 of this year’s NFL draft will still be seeking their first career wins in Week 2 after coming up short in their openers. First-overall selection QB Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers (0-1) were held in check as the Atlanta Falcons (1-0) picked up a 24-10 win; No. 2 C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans (0-1) fared even worse in a  25-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens (1-0); the No. 4 pick, QB Anthony Richardson produced more offense than the 2 QBs off the board ahead of him, but the Indianapolis Colts (0-1) still came up short in a 31-21 home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0).

Week 1 wraps up with the New York Jets hosting the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.

Week 2 gets underway with the Vikings visiting the Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) on Thursday Night Football. Sunday action is highlighted by divisional matchups as AFC North rivals the Ravens and Bengals square off in Cincinnati; Richardson or Stroud get their first win when the Colts visit the Texans in an AFC South showdown and Miami Dolphins (1-0) visit the New England Patriots (0-1) on Sunday Night Football.

Monday gives us a doubleheader of sorts as the New Orleans Saints (1-0) visit the Panthers for an NFC South affair and the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) host the Browns in an AFC North rivalry game. Unfortunately, the kickoffs for these 2 games are staggered by just an hour so you can’t watch one after the other!
