Today’s Best NHL Player Prop Bet

Adrian Kempe Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+105)

Kevin Fiala has been the top shot generator for the Kings this season, but as of late, Adrian Kempe has taken up the mantle. Kempe’s shot production has increased by more than 30 percent over the past month. He’s gone from generating nine shots per 60 minutes to nearly 13, and his 18:49 average ice time per game ranks second among Kings’ forwards behind his linemate Anze Kopitar. Kempe also skates alongside Kopitar on the first power play unit.

All in all, this is a good spot for Kempe, and his odds of generating at least four shots should be above 50 percent, not below. Anaheim is arguably the worst defensive team in the league, and the Kings should be able to generate a high number of shots against them on Friday. The Ducks have allowed 39-plus shots in 23 of their last 32 games dating back to Dec. 1 and the Kings should be somewhere around the 40-shot mark when it’s all said and done.
