NHL parlay picks Nov. 28: Bet on Oilers, Penguins to roll

A 10-game NHL slate provides plenty of parlay fodder for Tuesday night.

The pregame narrative: The Edmonton Oilers are finding their stride and are a solid pick to win at home. The Tampa Bay Lightning are coming off a tough loss and should beat an Arizona Coyotes team that's beginning to struggle. Lastly, the Pittsburgh Penguins should roll as a slight favourite against the Nashville Predators.

NHL parlay picks

Parlay: Oilers moneyline + Lightning moneyline + Penguins moneyline (+471)

Oilers moneyline (-150): Edmonton appears to be putting its slow start in the rearview and not a moment too soon.

The Oilers have won their last two games by a combined score of 13-2. Mind you their opponents during this stretch have been the Anaheim Ducks and Washington Capitals, but both were convincing, one-sided wins.

The most encouraging part of their recent efforts has been improved goaltending play. Stuart Skinner has stopped 46 of 48 shots during this stretch, bringing Edmonton out of the basement in team save percentage as its .871 mark ranks 31st.

Their opponent, the Vegas Golden Knights, has the best save percentage (.921) in the league but offensive production has been difficult to come by. Vegas has lost three of its last four and has two regulation goals during this run.

Other parlay picks

Lightning moneyline (-124): Tampa Bay was rocked by the Colorado Avalanche on Monday but I'm expecting a bounce back on Tuesday.

Andrei Vasilevskiy started in a 4-1 loss to the Avs but turning to Jonas Johansson against Arizona shouldn't be a big deal. Johansson logged the majority of starts in Vaseilevskiy's absence and churned out a respectable 8-4-5 record.

Besting the Yotes should be a much more manageable task for Tampa Bay as the former has lost three of its last four outings.

The Lightning offence will likely stay hot. The unit is firing on all cylinders and is averaging the fifth-most goals per game (3.59) this year.

Penguins moneyline (-113): Pittsburgh is better than its record suggests.

The Penguins enter play at 10-10-0 but they've been the recipient of some misfortune. They've lost two of their last three games by one goal but did walk away with a one-goal win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in their most recent outing.

Pittsburgh is receiving excellent goaltending as it ranks fourth (.917) in team save percentage. That, combined with an offence that's generating the third-most expected goals per game (3.51), according to Natural Stat Trick, should get things going soon.

The Predators are riding a five-game win streak but goaltending remains a concern. They place an unimpressive 19th in team save percentage (.894).
