David Gustafsson is out indefinitely with his own lower body injury and Brendan Gallagher, Sean Monahan, Mike Matheson, Kaiden Guhle and Emil Heineman will all miss considerable time for Montreal.

Winnipeg has won the last three meetings between these two teams. Winnipeg won 3-2 in the lone meeting between the two this season.

Winnipeg is the better team. Montreal lost to the Rangers. Montreal is still a better than last year's team but I'm not going to pick them.
