Odell Beckham Jr. NFL Player Props, Odds Divisional Round: Predictions for Texans vs. Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr. this past offseason for games exactly like this, and our OBJ NFL player prop predictions based on the best NFL odds believe he will deliver in Saturday's Texans vs. Ravens matchup in the Divisional Round.

When the Baltimore Ravens signed receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal in April, it was clearly with the postseason in mind. Now OBJ has the chance to show everyone why after saving himself for most of the regular season, in which he finished with 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

Beckham has played only five postseason games in his career, but he put on a show the last time we saw him on this stage during the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl run in 2021. Beckham recorded 21 receptions for 288 yards across three-plus games before suffering an injury in the Super Bowl.

With Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews unlikely to return to action this round, we believe OBJ will shoulder plenty of responsibility in Saturday's matchup against the Houston Texans.

To go along with our Lamar Jackson player props and Texans vs. Ravens prediction, and as part of our NFL Divisional Round predictions, here are our best Odell Beckham Jr. NFL player props (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Odell Beckham Jr. player props

Odell Beckham Jr. Over 2.5 receptions (-120 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bettors clearly believe OBJ will have a strong performance, as we have seen his receiving yardage prop climb from 30.5 to 37.5. Some of that is due to the news that Andrews will remain sidelined, but some of it probably is a bit narrative-based as well.

That means we have to get creative if we want to bet on Beckham ahead of Saturday's matchup, and his receptions prop is a similar idea. While OBJ has been more of a big-play receiver this season with the Ravens, he has cleared this receptions mark in five of his last 10 games. Over that span, Beckham has 26 catches.

The reason we focus on the last 10 games is because it did take him and Jackson some time to develop chemistry. But Jackson targeted Beckham 10 times in what was a back-and-forth shootout against the Rams on Dec. 17, showing they have more faith in each other at this point in the season.

Some of our best NFL prop betting sites are asking for as much as -139 for this Over, which is why we are taking this bargain at bet365. We project him to finish with at least three receptions, particularly if Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. ends up turning his attention to Baltimore rookie receiver Zay Flowers instead.

SGP: Odell Beckham Jr. 30-plus receiving yards + Ravens ML (+102 via ESPN BET) ⭐⭐⭐

It's not a bad thing if you would prefer to chase steam and take the Over on Beckham's latest receiving prop. If you choose to do that, bet365 is providing -110 odds on Over 35.5 receiving yards as of this writing. But this same-game parlay gives us a plus-money option, and all we need is for Beckham to finish closer to his original receiving line.

While most of our best sports betting apps offer an alternate receiving yards market, the options can be limited. For example, both FanDuel and DraftKings only offer 25-plus receiving yards and 40-plus receiving yards.

By placing this SGP at ESPN BET, we have more yardage options to choose from. Beckham has -175 odds to finish Over 29.5 receiving yards, which comes out to an implied probability of 63.6%. Because Beckham is projected to finish with 39 receiving yards, there is some wiggle room by attacking his alternate market.

As C Jackson Cowart explained in his Divisional Round rest vs. rust trends article, teams coming off a bye over the last 10 seasons have more double-digit wins (11) than outright losses (eight). With the Ravens losing in this exact scenario in 2019, we anticipate Baltimore will be plenty motivated to claim victory and avoid an upset this weekend.

Odell Beckham Jr. anytime touchdown (+275 via ESPN BET) ⭐⭐

Of all my OBJ props, this is my least-confident wager, hence the two stars. But as long as you understand touchdowns can be a bit fluky, this seems like a fun bet to make ahead of Saturday's showdown.

Beckham scored only three times this year for the Ravens, though all three touchdowns took place over the final two months of the regular season. He's not only capable of scoring on a big play, but his reliable hands (one drop with Baltimore) make him a strong option in the red zone, especially with the offense missing Andrews.

Beckham is fifth on the team in odds to score a touchdown this weekend, trailing Lamar Jackson, Gus Edwards, Zay Flowers, and Isaiah Likely. While I don't even think that order is necessarily wrong, it's often way more fun to attack the longer options in the touchdown market.

For maximum enjoyment, Beckham is +1400 at bet365 to score the first touchdown of the game. But we will settle for these +275 odds at ESPN BET for him to find paydirt just once in what could be the spark Baltimore needs on a cold and windy afternoon.
