Orioles minor league affiliates keep humming after Henderson promotion

Norfolk Tides beat Lehigh Valley IronPigs 4-1. Jordan Westburg hit his 13th home run of the season. Joey Ortiz added two singles, Jacob Nottingham and Richie Martin both doubled. Mike Baumann pitched six innings without allowing an earned run and struck out 13.

Cade Povich has a good start to his Double-A season. Bowie Baysox score 15 runs on 20 hits. Cody Roberts had four hits, including a double. Toby Welk had two doubles and a home run. Hudson Haskin added a three-run dong. Darell Hernaiz had 2 hits and stole a base.

Aberdeen IronBirds won the game against Hickory Crawdads. The offense managed just one hit. Jean Pinto allowed just 1 run over 5 innings. Alex Pham struck out 3 over 2 innings in relief.

Aberdeen IronBirds beat Hickory Crawdads 8-1 in Game 2 of the High-A-level championship series. Billy Cook, Trendon Craig, Connor Pavolony, and Chris Givin all had two hits. Antonio Velez started on the bump and went four innings, allowing four runs but only one was earned. Connor Gillispie got the win with three innings of work.

Fredericksburg Nationals beat Delmarva Shorebirds 12-8 on Wednesday. Juan Nunez was the standout of the bunch, tossing three scoreless innings. Dylan Beavers went 3-for-5 with two RBI, a double, and a stolen base. Creed Willems added a pair of hits, including adouble. Jackson Holliday had a two-hit day. Maxwell Costes made his Del Marva debut.
