Panthers Set to Swim with the Fishes

Sportsbook Review betting analyst Neil Parker has evaluated the NFL odds from our best sports betting apps to share his top NFL survivor picks for Week 6.

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are the leading survivor picks for poolies ahead of Week 6, and I’m anticipating them to be the two most popular selections by a considerable margin.

It was a sweat-free Sunday for the Detroit Lions against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5, and I’m going against Carolina and rookie quarterback Bryce Young again. Miami is too fast, and the Panthers can’t stop the run. Add in the high Miami humidity to Carolina also dealing with a banged-up secondary, and the Dolphins are well-positioned to improve to 5-1.

Here are our NFL survivor picks for Week 6 to accompany all of our NFL Week 6 predictions.

Survivor picks NFL Week 6: Rankings

4. Eagles (at Jets)

This is a letdown spot for the New York Jets following a 31-21 road win over the Denver Broncos in Week 5. The Philadelphia Eagles' pass rush is going to be too much for the Jets' offensive line and quarterback Zach Wilson. As much as I respect New York's defense, keeping pace with the Eagles is going to be a tall order.

A divisional matchup on Thursday Night Football is making me worried about turning to the Kansas City Chiefs in survivor pools. I fully anticipate Kansas City taking care of business against the Denver Broncos, but I prefer the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins if they're at your disposal.

Additionally, aside from blowing out the Chicago Bears in Week 3, the Chiefs haven’t been running away from opponents. In particular, Kansas City's offense hasn’t been as dynamic while averaging just 21.8 points per game, excluding the 41-point showing against Chicago.

1. Bills (vs. Giants)

The New York Giants dominated possession (35:59 to 24:01) and won the turnover battle 3-0 against the Dolphins in Week 5. And yet they still suffered a 15-point loss. That’s tough to do.

Add in the G-Men potentially being without No. 1 quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) for the Sunday Night Football bout, and this spot looks better and better for the Bills.

Buffalo is also in a ripe rebound spot following a 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

Rams (vs. Cardinals)

Both of these NFC West teams have been better than expected, and I picked the Los Angeles Rams to cover the spread in our Beat the Bullseye contest. But putting my survivor existence on the line with L.A. is an entirely different discussion.

While I expect Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to shred the Arizona Cardinals’ secondary, I’m not willing to call it a year because I laid it all on the line with the Rams in a Week 6 divisional game.

After all, there are going to be enough tough calls in the coming weeks.

Maimi is going to run all over the Panthers on Sunday, and there continues to be absolutely nothing to fret about when crossing paths with these Black Cats.

This is the second consecutive road game for Carolina, and it’s also their fourth through six weeks. It’s a tough schedule spot for the Panthers, and their Week 7 bye can’t come soon enough.

Circa Survivor picks NFL Week 6

Here are the Week 5 picks from the Circa Survivor Pro Football Contest, and it's no surprise to see Miami and Detroit are the two most popular picks.
