Pasco Stakes Predictions, Odds, Pick (Tampa Bay Downs)

Champions Dream and Armstrong are stablemates for Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse. They are going to race in the Pasco Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday. Handsome Playboy is a debut winner on the grass at Monmouth Park.  Handsome Mike was second in Inaugural Stake and won allowance race on Dec 21.

Champions Dream is the son of Triple Crown winner Justify. He won his debut at Saratoga and the Grade 3 Nashua at Aqueduct. The listed-stakes race might not be easier for him, but he's the only winner in the field.

Armstrong is the favorite for the Pasco Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs. Armstrong has two straight wins and a stakes win. The difference between Armstrong's previous starts on the all-weather track at Woodbine and now on dirt.

Handsome Playboy is the son of Handsome Mike. He has tried the grass at Monmouth and the all-weather surface at Presque Isle before coming to Tampa Bay Downs for his last two starts. His last efforts were both solid for local trainer Gerald Bennett.

Loco Abarrio has only run in maiden claiming races at Gulfstream Park so far. Last one was his first attempt on dirt and he had his best race yet. He will be part of a strong early pace.

Shaq Diesel won two races in two days at Gulfstream Park. He finished fourth in the Inaugural Stakes. Shaq Diesel will have Lasix and an extra furlong on Saturday.

Zydeceaux has won two races in his first four career starts. He has been trained at Gulfstream Park. Zydecaux is a gelded son of Cajun Breeze.
