Queen Mother Champion Chase 2023 guide: Runners, odds and date for Cheltenham race

The Queen Mother Champion Chase is the feature race of day two at the Cheltenham Festival, with a top class field for the steeplechase around the Old Course.

Last year, the race was won by Energumene and the Willie Mullins trained nine-year-old will go again in the event which takes centre stage on Ladies' Day. The challenge will come mainly from Edwardstone and Editeur Du Gite, with the trio having competed in the Grade One Albert Bartlett Clarence House Chase in January.

Editeur Du Gite came out on top that day, but Edwardstone is the current joint favourite, alongside Energumene, having won the Arkle last year before a more mixed season this time around. A win in the Grade One Betfair Tingle Creek Chase in December is the highlight, but it will be a tough task to win this one with a packed field which also includes Blue Lord, Nube Negra and Gentleman de Mee.

Here is all the information you need ahead of the race.
