This year college football lost several players and coaches. They include Sam Westmoreland, Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., D’Sean Perry, Mike Leach, Vince Dooley, John Hadl and Vince Curnow. They are remembered for their athletic achievements. In 2023, they will be remembered as winning coaches and administrators. It has been a season of memories in Knoxville, Fort Worth, West Lafayette and New Orleans.
