Saints vs. Rams player props: NFL odds, picks, best bets for ‘Thursday Night Football’

The New Orleans Saints visit the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night in a matchup of 7-7 teams that has serious NFC playoff implications.

We found four player props from the game that are worth betting.

  • Spread: Rams -4
  • Total: o45.5 (-110), u45.5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Saints +165, Rams -200

After a subpar performance against the Giants last week, tonight presents an opportune moment for Hill to showcase his dynamic running ability against a middling Rams defense.

Hill, who averages 26 rushing yards per game on the season, has surpassed his line for tonight five times in his last seven games.

The Rams rank eighth in rushing yards allowed to opposing quarterbacks this season, and Hill has had five-plus rushing attempts in five of the last seven games.

Despite the attention often directed toward Juwan Johnson and Jimmy Graham, Moreau emerges as a dark horse with a ton of value at +1400.

Johnson has found the end zone only twice this year. Graham, on the other hand, has four touchdowns on just six receptions.

The Rams have been vulnerable to opposing tight ends, conceding seven touchdowns to the position this season.

Despite Moreau’s last touchdown coming in Week 5, recent weeks have witnessed an uptick in his usage, including a season-high five targets last week against the Giants.

The Saints defense has been susceptible to the run, ranking in the bottom eight teams in rushing yards allowed per game. Williams has been a force since returning from injury, accumulating 497 rushing yards in four games, including three 100-plus-yard performances.

Williams should receive another significant workload tonight with the Rams favored by 4 points and potentially operating in a positive game script.

Williams could see a ton of snaps in the second half if the Rams build an lead.

Kupp has had a resurgence the past two games, averaging 113 receiving yards on eight catches with a touchdown, and looking a lot like the All-Pro receiver before his ankle injury.

The Rams’ revitalized running game has played a pivotal role in Kupp’s resurgence, providing him with more operating space in the middle of the field. The absence of Marshon Lattimore for the Saints further tilts the matchup in Kupp’s favor.

While the Saints have a very good pass defense, ranking fifth in net yards per pass, the void left by Lattimore will necessitate adjustments. With defensive attention likely divided between Puka Nacua and Kupp, the latter is well-positioned to exploit the middle of the field and sustain an increased volume of throws.
