ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’m probably just going to stay with the Padres. The line's too thick to mess with, though. Wacha hasn’t been great over his last two starts either, so he’s going to need a big effort in this one. In that pair Wacha has given up 10 earned in 8.0 innings on 14 hits and six walks, going 0-2 overall. He’s been way better than that this season however—and he shouldn’t have too many major issues with the Rockies hitters—so I expect Wacha to notch a quality start in this opener. On Sunday San Diego posted 13 hits in another great offensive outing. That makes 29 runs combined over the last four games for the Padres, and I like them to keep it going.
