Saturday's Wincanton predictions: Elixir De Nutz to take feature

It's the first day of racing at Wincanton of the New Year. Virgin Bet are sponsors of all the races. Kim Bailey's Top Target has a 7lb penalty to contend with. The GOONER failed to match market expectations on his hurdles bow at Carlisle six days earlier. Elixir De Nutz is predicted to take the feature.

Mardoof shaped well on his second hurdles attempt at Uttoxeter last month. Mullinaree ran well in third at Newcastle in November.

Celebre D'allen and Elixir De Nutz are expected to play a part in Saturday's Wincanton match.

Desque de L'isle and Shane Quinlan have won two races at Ludlow in the last two months. Elixir De Nutz has a 4lb rise for the latest of those races.
