NFL Week 5 odds, picks and promos: Bet Bengals vs. Cards and other NFL Week 5 action with our FanDuel Kentucky promo code

The following is a selection of NFL games during Week 5 with odds from FanDuel:

Jacksonville has yet to take the step forward that many thought they would after a solid season in 2022. They controlled their game in London last week against the Falcons, but the offense was unimpressive and failed to score on its only red zone trip.

Buffalo is coming off a big win over Miami. Everything went their way as the defense bottled up the explosive Dolphins offense, and Josh Allen and the offense racked up 48 points.

  • Giants vs. Dolphins (-10.5)

After a promising season in 2022, the Giants entered 2023 believing good times were ahead, but the team has struggled on both sides of the ball this year. They showed signs of life against the Cardinals a few weeks ago but then struggled against the 49ers and Seahawks.

Buffalo put Miami in its place last week with a 48-20 thumping as their explosive offense got contained, and the defense had no answer for Josh Allen. They'll be looking for redemption this week against a lackluster Giants team.

Philadelphia has a top-five offense averaging 392 and 29.5 PPG, but three of their four wins are by one score. The defense has been solid against the run (63 YPG allowed), but teams throw for 260-plus yards a game and score 22.5 points.

The Rams are one of the more surprising teams in the league this year, with the emergence of rookie Puka Nacua and second-year running back Kyren Williams. With a healthy Aaron Donald leading the way, the defense is once again a top-10 unit (total yards allowed).

  • Bengals (-3) vs. Cardinals

Cincinnati got off to a slow start last season but worked out of it after a couple of games. That is not the case this year, and with Joe Burrow's health in question, the outlook for the Bengals is not favorable.

Arizona has been surprisingly competitive for a team whose starting quarterback got picked up after training camp cuts. If the Bengals struggle to get on track once again, the Cardinals could get the win.

Bets to consider for NFL Week 5:

  • Buffalo -5.5: As long as Josh Allen does not turn the ball over, the Bills should easily win and cover the spread.
  • Dolphins -10.5: It's usually best to avoid double-digit spreads, but Miami will be out for blood against a struggling Giants team.
  • Eagles-Rams Over 50.5: Both teams have good defenses, but neither will completely contain the other's offense. Look for both teams to score in the high 20s, with the game to be decided by a late field goal.
  • Cardinals +3: This game should be one the Bengals can win, but only if they bring their "A" game, which they have not done this season.
