Talented I Am Maximus out to follow in Galopin Des Champs' footsteps for Mullins

Galopin Des Champs won the race last year. Willie Mullins is hoping to follow in his footsteps. I Am Maximus failed to collect on his chasing debut at Fairyhouse this month. He is now trying cheekpieces for the first time. The event has a rich history. Lord Windermere, Djakadam, The Big Getaway, Snow Falcon and Easy Game have won it in the past decade. Decimation is a debutant for Rachael Blackmore.  Freedom To Dream needs to improve from his 22-length defeat to Gerri Colombe at the Fairy house. Grand Roi may not be far away after getting back on track after a fall at same venue in October.

I Am Maximus is going to follow in Galopin Des Champs' footsteps for Mullins. Freedom To Dream came on well at Fairyhouse and should appreciate the nicer ground here. Grand Roi ran a nice race on his first start over fences at Listowel. Gentlemansgame is in good form for his debut over the fences.
