Jason Belmonte won five titles and Anthony Simonsen won two majors. EJ Tackett averaged 225.27 to lead the tour. Kris Prather left 872 9-pins.
The average score in championship round wins, the highest scoring telecast and who threw the most strikes on the left lane on patterns between 39- and 41-feet on Tuesday afternoons are some of the stats that shed new light on a player's season or reveal riveting insights into a telecasts.
Keven Williams missed the show of the PBA Players Championship - Southwest Region Qualifier. He needed one more strike to secure the final spot on the regional show in 2021. The two-pin deficit was the narrowest margin by which any player missed a championship round this season.

Tommy Jones was the second most consistent player on the PBA Tour in 2018. He finished sixth at the U.S. Open, fifth at Tournament of Champions and third at World Championship. His lowest finish of the season came at Masters, where he finished tied for 13th.
Jason Belmonte won 20 of 24 championship round matches. Dom Barrett, Simonsen, Prather and Jones won a combined 19 championship rounds. BelMonte averaged 243.59 under the lights.
EJ Tackett won only two of seven championship matches in the singles round of the 2022 PBA Tour. He won the other two matches. TACKett is the tour's leading player in terms of wins and losses. He had one of his best TV performances at the Roth/Holman Doubles.

Jesper Svensson won the PBA Storm Cup. He finished with the highest average of any No. 1 seed. Svenson beat Packy Hanrahan in the title match.
Thomas Larsen won the USBC Masters in 2021. He finished 20th at the Tournament of Champions in 2022. Larsens season earnings are round number.
Brad Miller finished third at the Masters. He secured his PBA playoffs berth.

The two highest scoring shows were the championship matches of the Tour Finals and Kia PBA playoffs. Kyle Troup averaged 265 in his 3-1 defeat of Jones in the playoffs Finals, while Belmonte averaged 267.5 in Tour finals.
The average score in championship round losses is 182.75. Losing scores dropped below 200 eight times and exceeded 220 seven times.
The first quarterfinals show of the Kia PBA playoffs featured five of seven highest scoring telecasts. The average score on the first show was 250.5. Troup and Prather won their Race to Two matches while averaging 260. O’Neill and Barrett averaged 238.

The last three matches of the Masters were decided by a combined seven pins. The collective average of 199.88 was the season's lowest. AJ Johnson shot the highest game on the show and didn't win his match.
