The Winnipeg Jets need to deal with their log jam
The Jets are short on defencemen. They should trade for a middle-six centerman. The team needs help with faceoffs. Heinola should be sent to the Manitoba Moose. He's played only one game in the NHL. He should have spent the last two seasons with the Moose to improve his game. Winnipeg's faceoff percentage is 28th in NHL, it could fall to 30th with another bad game at the net. Jets need help in face-off. It's the 28st worst in league. Their face off winning percentage could easily fall into 30 thirtieth. A trade could cure that problem. For the next two years Heinola would play in eight games in 2019-2020 season.
The Winnipeg Jets have too many young defenders. Chisholm has been playing well in the AHL and Heinola hasn't. If the Jets don't do something soon, they might lose more young players to the waiver wire. Let me know what you think. Do the young guys need to wait patiently to play for the Winnipeg team?
