Thyme Hill bounces back to land Grade 1 glory
Thyme Hill won the Kauto Star Novices' Chase at Kempton. It was his third Grade 1 success. He was beaten by McFabulous at Newbury last time. Tom O'Brien rode him with more confidence because of the ground. Sarah Hobbs, wife of winning trainer, said that cheekpieces helped. Thyme HIll is 10-1 to win the Brown Advisory Novice's Chase in the Cheltenham Festival.
Rare Edition won the opening race at Kempton on Boxing Day. Charlie Longsdon's horse has now won three races from three. Long's has to think about other options as he doesn't have the same experience as Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson.
Grey Dawning won the 2m5f handicap hurdle. The crowd was 12,760 on Monday. The attendance was down on the 2019 attendance of 17,218.
