Timberwolves vs. Nuggets prediction and odds for Tuesday, February 7

For the second time in as many games the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves face off in a divisional battle.

Denver sat Aaron Gordon, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in the meeting on Sunday, leading to a blow out win for the Wolves.

These teams have played three times already this season, with Minnesota winning both matchups at home and the Nuggets winning by four at Ball Arena.

We’re back in Denver for this matchup, but Denver is a massive favorite in this game with its stars expected to play.

Should we trust Denver, who is one of the best home teams in the NBA, or back the Wolves?

Here are the odds and my best bet:

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets prediction and pick

Minnesota has been playing great basketball as of late even with Karl-Anthony Towns out of the lineup with a calf injury. The Wolves have won seven of their last 10 games, and I think they’re a bit undervalued in this spot.

The Wolves were able to keep things close the first time these teams played in Denver, and asking Denver to win by 10 or more points is a tall task.

Denver is unreal at home this season (25-4 straight up), but the Wolves have just two double-digit losses since Dec. 31, and shockingly those are both to the Detroit Pistons.

If you want to include Denver in a moneyline parlay, go for it. However, I think the Wolves are going to be able to cover tonight.
