Chikadze is making his return and looking to bounce back from a brutal unanimous decision loss to Calvin Kattar in January of 2022.
Caceres is coming off a good decision win over Daniel Pineda in January of this year.
Chikadze took the UFC featherweight division by storm with 7-straight wins after signing with the UFC in 2019. After his first top contender fight with Calvin Kattar didn’t go as planned, he took extra time off to recover and regroup. Now, he has a professional MMA record of 14-3 with nine TKO/KOs and one submission.
Standing at 6’0” with a 74” reach, Chikadze brings up a lot of problems for any featherweight opponent he steps into the octagon with. In the UFC, he averages 4.05 significant strikes landed and 3.35 significant strikes absorbed per minute out of the orthodox stance. He also adds a 69% takedown defense to his arsenal.
Caceres is one of the most fun fighters to watch on the entire UFC roster. Now, at age 35, the #15 ranked featherweight has a professional MMA record of 21-13 with four TKO/KOs and seven submissions. He started his UFC journey all the way back in 2010 when he was winning fights on TUF.
“Bruce Leeroy” is now 7-1 in his last eight appearances inside the octagon, stepping in against arguably his toughest test in years. With this career resurgence, he has a chance to rewrite his fighting legacy with a massive win in Singapore this weekend.
Caceres is coming into this weekend, averaging 4.16 significant strikes landed per minute while only absorbing an average of 2.87.
