It is likely related to the investigation into the fight between Darrick Minner and Shayilan Nuerdanbieke on November 5. Miner lost the match by TKO early in the first round. Neither Minnner nor Glory MMA & Fitness instructor James Krause told the NAC about the injury. Krauses was suspended earlier this month. Molinio withdrew from the bout with Jimmy Flick on January 14.
