Ryan Reynolds is interested in buying the Ottawa Senators. Eugene Melnyk passed away ten months ago. The asking price is estimated to be upwards of $1 billion. A deal is expected to get done by March or later.  Michael Andlauer, Jeffrey Kimel and Patrick Dovigi are also interested.

Ryan Reynolds is the slight favorite to own one of Canada's seven NHL franchises. T-Mobile is considering an acquisition of Mint Mobile, which is partially owned by Reynolds.

Ryan Reynolds is the favorite to buy Ottawa Senators. Michael Andlauer and Jeffrey and Michael Kimel are also in the running. Michael is already the owner of the Hamilton Bulldogs and part owner in Montreal Canadiens. Jeffrey is co-founder of Harlo Entertainment and OverActive Media.

Roger Greenberg grew up in Ottawa and is the CEO of Minto, a real estate company. The Senators must not move to another city if they are to be sold. Ryan Reynolds is favourite to buy the Senators.
